ARTIST BIO
(b. 1967, Thailand)
Preecha Pun-klum is one of Asia’s most respected and admired artists, with a wealth of creative works and teaching experience.
He works with subtle plays of colors and dimensions of imageries on canvas, like the fireworks in his own words--"the perfect illustration of what a man’s life should be, short but filled with the willingness to create pleasure and happiness”. His works of flamboyant style are unique, in that they are composed of precise brushstrokes of vibrant contrasts of pure color, lines and tones. He also experimented with rain effects in his works, in which the “Raindrop glitters through the sky and bring me a sense of peaceful but powerful energy".
