Pairoj Karndee

ARTIST BIO

(b. 1975, Thailand)

Pariroj Karndee works and lives a simple life in Bangkok. His strong controlled brushwork and individual style have earned him a well-deserved reputation in the art world. Pairoj’s deep regard for the religious and cultural traditions of Thailand and Angkor Wat (Cambodia) have led him to paint serene Buddhist images that tough the heart and transcend national and cultural boundaries. His three dimensional sculptural images look as though they have been carved from stone itself.
